Abstract

ABSTRAK Fenomena perilaku seksual pranikah di Indonesia khususnya pada remaja semakin terjadi dan terus meningkat setiap tahun. Ini karena kurangnya pengetahuan mengenai seks dan resiko dari perilaku seks itu sendiri. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku seksual adalah kepribadian. Kepribadian dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teori The Big Five Personality Traits dari McCrae dan Costa yang terdiri dari lima dimensi yaitu neuroticism, extraversion, openness, agreableness, dan conscientiousness. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kepribadian dengan perilaku seks pranikah siswa-siswi SMA kelas XI IPA di Grogol Petamburan. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 256 orang dengan menggunakan teknik stratified sampling. Hasil penelitian dari kelima dimensi salah satu dimensi diterima dan empat lainnya ditolak. Dimensi neuroticism, openness, agreableness dan conscientiousness tidak memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan perilaku seks pranikah. Sedangkan dimensi extraversion terdapat hubungan yang signifikan dengan perilaku seks pranikah siswa-siswi SMA kelas XI IPA di Grogol Petamburan dengan nilai sig 0,045 dan r 0,125. Kata Kunci : Kepribadian Big Five, Perilaku Seksual Pranikah ABSTRACT The phenomenon of pre-marriage sexual behavior in Indonesia especially in adolescents are occured and is increasing every year. This is due to the lack of knowledge about sexual risk behavior. One of the factors that affecting sexual behavior is personality. Personality on this study using the theory of The Big Five Personality Traits from McCrae and Costa are divided into five dimensions of neuroticism, extraversion, openness, agreeableness, and conscientiousness. This study aims to determine the relationship of personality with pre-marriage sex behavior of high school students of class XI IPA in Grogol Petamburan. There are about 256 sample for study and the technique that has been used is stratified sampling. From fve dimensions that has been used in the research, there is one dimension accepted and the other four rejected. Dimensions of neuroticism, openness, agreeableness and conscientiousness do not have a significant relationship with sex behavior. While the extraversion dimension has a significant relationship with pre marriage sex behavior of high school students in class XI IPA in Grogol Petamburan with sig value of 0,046 and r 0,125.
