Abstract
ABSTRACT Most developers use building types with one type of floor plan and one type visible of many lots. Consequently thermal condition in building have different value, one of the cause is influenced by the orientation of the building. Building orientation affect on consumption of energy in building, such as lighting and air setting. Construction of housing that don’t pay attention to building orientation make thermal transfer ineffectively, so it can make energy consumption in the building become ineffectively. The standart value of OTTV according to SNI 03-6389-2011 is ≤35 Watt/M2. The research method used is quantitative method, the researcher study some jurnal and previous similar research. Then collected data from several housing in the same period to compare the thermal condition of each house. The result of obtained from this study is the difference of house orientation, the influence of temperature difference of the house. The result of the highest actual OTTV value is house with northwest orientation, the lowest is the house with east orientation. Keyword : OTTV, Orientation, Energy, SNI 03-6389-2011 ABSTRAK Sebagian besar pengembang menggunakan tipe bangunan dengan satu tipe denah dan satu tipe tampak pada banyak kavling, yang dimana menimbulkan kondisi thermal yang berbeda dalam bangunan yang salah satunya dipengaruhi oleh orientasi bangunan. Kondisi orientasi bangunan sangatlah berpengaruh pada penggunaan energi dalam bangunan itu sendiri, seperti dalam pencahayaan dan pengahawaan. Pembangunan perumahan yang tidak memperhatikan orientasinya dimana menimbulkan perpindahan thermal tidak efektif, sehingga tidak efisien dalam konsumsi energi pada bangunan rumah. Dengan berdasarkan standar OTTV (Overall Thermall Transfer Value) SNI 03-6389-2011 bernilai lebih kecil atau sama dengan 35 watt/m2. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode kuantitatif, yang dimana melakukan kajian terhadap beberapa jurnal dan penelitian sejenis yang terdahulu kemudian mengumpulkan data dari sejumlah unit rumah dalam periode yang bersamaan untuk membandingkan kondisi termal antar unit rumah. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini perbedaan orientasi rumah, berpengaruh pada perbedaan suhu dalam ruangan rumah. Dan nilai OTTV kondisi aktual tertinggi rata-rata pada rumah dengan orientasi Barat Laut, serta terendah pada rumah dengan orientasi Timur. Kata Kunci : OTTV, Orientasi, Energi, SNI 03-6389-2011
