Abstract

Jakarta is the most populous city in Indonesia. Many people from outside the city to move to Jakarta. Most of them to find a job better earning. House is an essential need for them. They can buy a house, live with the family who in Jakarta or rent a house. Quite a number of them choose to rent the house to be close to where they work. In general, the owner of a rental house only provides information through leaflets of paper taped to the walls of their houses. Aims to inform the rental house information that will be leased. So there are incidents experienced by customers. The incidents like the lack of information about the location of the houses are empty and also not in accordance with the cost of rent desired. Rental house search application is very important for people who want to find the rental house quickly and as desired. This application can run on android-based smartphone. In this application, there are two users namely owner of the rental house and rental house seeker. Owner of rental house can register direct rental house that they have. This application using waterfall method for system design development and data collection method using real data by using registration of account. The system to be build is that can provide information effectively, quickly and accurately. In order for these solutions to be achieved, then the system is built on android mobile by applying the system of searching of the rental house. Keywords: Rental House, Android, Information System
