Abstract

Indonesia is a rich country in diversity such as islands, arts, languages, and also ethnic groups. Speaks of an ethnic group where there is an ethnic group called the Betawi ethnic who inhabit Jakarta capital of Indonesia. Over a span of more than two hundred years, people from these ethnic successfully mixed and produced a unique language, house style, and forms of dance, music, ceremony and theater. But in the current era of Betawi culture increasingly eliminated by the entry of foreign culture to Indonesia and inversely related to the lack of Betawi people who promote their culture to foreigners. An android application of betawi Culture for travel and tourism developed using waterfall methodology with java mobile programming language, which can run in android studio, and using firebase as online database. BlackBox testing method selected. Based on testing result concluded that the test has shown the output and the process in accordance with the design of this program application.
