Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the effect of motivation on employee performance and discipline PT. Ciputra Residence either individually or together. In this study to obtain data with field research conducted through observation, interviews and distributing questionnaires to all the employees of PT. Ciputra Reidence as respondents and literature study. The research method is quantitative analysis, using statistical techniques. Step-by-step method of research was conducted with test validity, reliability test, correlation analysis, regression analysis, significance tests and analysis of partial and simultaneous determination. The result showed that motivation and discipline have a significant positive impact on performance. From the results of this study also note that motivational variables on the dimensions of extrinsic motivation is more influential on performance variables on behavioral dimensions of work. And also on the dimensions of the discipline variable environmental factors have more influence on the performance variables on behavioral dimensions of work. The result showed also that the dominant influence of motivation on performance. Keywords: Motivation, Discipline, Performance Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh motivasi dan disiplin terhadap kinerja karyawan PT. Ciputra Residence baik secara masing–masing maupun bersama-sama. Dalam penelitian ini untuk mendapatkan data dilakukan dengan penelitian lapangan melalui observasi, wawancara, serta penyebaran kuesioner kepada semua para karyawan PT. Ciputra Reidence sebagai responden serta studi kepustakaan. Metode penelitian bersifat analisa kuantitatif, dengan menggunakan teknik statistik. Langkah–langkah metode penelitian ini dilakukan dengan uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, analisa korelasi, analisa regresi berganda, uji signifikansi partial dan simultan serta analisa determinasi. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa motivasi dan disiplin berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap kinerja. Dari hasil penelitian ini pula diketahui bahwa variabel motivasi pada dimensi motivasi ekstrinsik lebih berpengaruh terhadap variabel kinerja pada dimensi perilaku kerja. Dan juga variabel disiplin pada dimensi faktor lingkungan lebih berpengaruh terhadap variabel kinerja pada dimensi perilaku kerja. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh pula bahwa pengaruh motivasi lebih dominan terhadap kinerja. Kata kunci : Motivasi, Disiplin, Kinerja
