Abstract
“Analysis of the effects of solvency to the profitability with PT. Asuransi Jiwa Bumi Asih Jaya taken case study This research aims to anailyze and discover the growth rate of solvency at PT. Asuransi Jiwa Bumi Asih Jaya and analysize whether the solvency factor may affect the company’s profitability. The research methodologies used are both causal research variable, observing the solvency, admitted asset, and as well investment by using the multiple regression analysis method. The resourch data as company financial report, solvency report, admitted analysis report in 2008, 2009, and 2010. From the research done, it has been found that the achievement of solvency growth rate at PT. Asuransi Jiwa Bumi Asih Jaya within 2 years is tent to be up and down and has not yet met the rule and policy set by the government, and the positive effect has the solvency factor of investment ratio, equity ratio, structur equity ratio, premium ratio, gain on investment ratio, debt claim ratio and the profitability. The key word : of solvency factor, effecting profitabilitas. “Analisis pengaruh solvabilitas terhadap profitabilitas studi kasus pada PT. Asuransi Jiwa Bumi Asih Jaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengungkapkan bagaimana perkembangan tingkat solvabilita PT. Asuransi Jiwa Bumi Asih Jaya dan menganalisis apakah factor-faktor solvabilitas mempengaruhi profitabilitas perusahaan. Metodelogi penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian kausal variabel, dan yang diteliti adalah solvabilitas, kekayaan yang diperkenankan, dan investasi, dengan menggunakan metode analisis regresi berganda, sumber data adalah laporan keuangan perusahaan, laporan solvabilitas, laporan analisis kekayaan yang diperkenankan, dan laporan hasil investasi periode tahun 2008, 2009 dan 2010. Hasil penelitian yang didapat bahwa perkembangan pencapaian solvabilitas di PT. Asuransi Jiwa Bumi Asih jaya dalam dua tahun terakhir ini cenderung turun dan tidak memenuhi ketentuan perundang-undangan yang ditetapkan pemerintah, dan terdapat pengaruh yang positif antara factor-factor solvabilitas yang mencakup ratio investasi, ratio modal, ratio struktur modal, ratio premi, ratio keuntungan investasi, dan ratio beban klaim terhadap profitabilitas. Kata kunci : factor-factor solvabilitas, profitabilitas berpengaruh.
