Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the performance level of the construction companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange by using Du Pont method, Economic Value Added (EVA) and Market Value Added (MVA) with a comparative approach using Time Comparison and Industrial Comparison within the same industry. The data used in this study were drawn from annual audited financial statements of each issuer on year 2008, 2009, 2010, except for year 2011. On year 2011, data used were unaudited data up to third quarter. This performance analysis of construction companies inform the result of each companies level of productivity, efficiency, and company risk through Du Pont analysis, as well as actual performance of company operational through EVA analysis, and also market valuation on the stock exchange market using the MVA. By utilizing three methods of analysis provide comprehensive information about the real condition of the company performance compared by using only one or two types of methods.. The preferable choice through above three type of financial analysis named PT. Wijaya Karya (Limited) as the best option for investment. Keywords: Du Pont, Economic Value Added (EVA), Market Value Added (MVA) Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui kinerja emiten konstruksi yang tercatat di Bursa Efek Indonesia dengan menggunakan Metode Du Pont, Economic Value Added (EVA), dan Market Value Added (MVA) dengan pendekatan perbandingan Antar Waktu dan Antar Perusahaan pada industri yang sama. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini diambil dari laporan keuangan tahunan teraudit masing-masing emiten, yaitu 2008, 2009, 2010, kecuali tahun 2011. Untuk tahun 2011 data yang digunakan adalah laporan belum diaudit sampai dengan kwartal ketiga. Analisa kinerja emiten konstruksi ini menghasilkan informasi mengenai tingkat produktifitas, efisiensi, maupun resiko perusahaan melalui analisa Du Pont, selain juga kinerja aktual operasional perusahaan melalui analisa EVA, dan valuasi emiten Bursa Efek melalui MVA. Penggunaan ketiga metode analisa memberikan informasi menyeluruh mengenai kondisi riil kinerja emiten dibandingkan hanya menggunakan satu atau dua jenis metode. Pilihan emiten terbaik melalui ketiga analisa di muka menunjukan PT. Wijaya Karya (Persero) sebagai pilihan investasi yang terbaik.
