Abstract
Engine compressor Helicopter Allison 250 - C20 yang terpasang pada helicopter Allison merupakan bagian dari engine tipe high by pass turboshaft. Ciri khusus dari turboshaft sendiri ialah terpasangnya shaft (poros) pada bagian atas engine yang digerakkan oleh mesin inti (core engine) Engine Compresor Allison 250 – C20 berjenis compressor sentrifugal dan aksial. Pada helikopter, kompresor digunakan untuk menaikkan tekanan dari udara yang masuk, agar proses pembakaran didalam ruang bakar dapat berlangsung. Adapun pengumpulan data dalam tugas akhir ini didasarkan pada thermodinamika terhadap diffuser, kompresor tekanan rendah,dan kompresor tekanan tinggi. Dari hasil perhitungan thermodinamika di dapat efisiensi kompresor per-stage ratarata pada saat take-off sebesar 0,918 point atau = 91,8 %. Ini menandakan bahwa kompresor dalam kondisi baik, dan untuk menjaga keadaan tersebut diperlukan perawatan dan pemeriksaan secara berkala terhadap komponen kompresor sehingga kerusakan yang terjadi pada engine dapat dihindari.
