Abstract
Accounting Profession Education is further education in higher education to get a degree accounting profession, which must be experienced after taking education degree program or one educational strata (S1) majoring in accounting economics ( RI Mendiknas Decision No. 179/U/2001). Accounting Profession Education should be lived for two semesters or 12 months. While the two educational strata (S2) in accounting, accounting well for the master program (MAKSI) or the program of master science in accounting (M.Si Accounting) can be lived for 16 up to 20 months. This is determined will be influenced by a variety of other motivations, such as motivational qualities, career and economic. vi With this research, the author wants to do the test again on the influence of motivation on student interest in accounting to follow the accounting profession of education, especially in Mercu Buana University on West Jakarta. Motivation for quality and career motivation have a significant impact on student interest in accounting to follow the accounting profession education. This can be caused by a boost in self in the student to possess and improve the quality of self and ability in the field who practiced, especially in the field of accounting profession
