Abstract

Telecommunications infrastructure is developing rapidly, therefore it is very necessary to optimize network security. One of the solutions that can be implemented is Dynamic Multipoint VPN for communication between the central office to the branch office that is passed through backbone network. When communication between branch offices and headquarters has established, then the delivery of the data is occuring, so that the data can be securely encrypted. Therefore the company requires accurate and safe information when communicating between Hub dan Spoke trough backbone passing lanes, one of the solutions to security through the backbone network is using Dynamic Multipoint Tunnel Concept/ hub and spoke IPSec VPN & Remote Access VPN which will form private tunnel network when communicating on backbone network, therefore a comparison test conducted by using data encryption and AH-MD5-HMAC Method, in this test, IPSec Method is more safer than using AH-HMAC-MD5. Keyword : VPN, Tunnel, IPSec, Private, AH-MD5-HMAC.Dynamic Multipoint VPN. Infrastruktur telekomunikasi sangatlah berkembang dengan pesat, oleh sebab itu mengoptimalkan keamanan jaringan sangat diperlukan. Salah satu solusi yang bisa diimplementasikan Dynamic Multipoint VPN untuk berkomunikasi antar kantor Pusat dengan kantor Cabang yang dilewati melalui jaringan backbone. Ketika melakukan komunikasi antar kantor cabang dan kantor pusat disinilah terjadi pengiriman data sehingga data tersebut dapat terenkripsi dengan aman. Maka dari itu Perusahaan membutuhkan informasi yang akurat dan aman pada saat berkomunikasi antara Hub dan Spoke yang melewati jalur backbone, salah satu solusi untuk kemanan melalui jaringan backbone yaitu dengan menggunakan konsep Tunnel Dynamic Multipoint/hub and spoke IPsec VPN & Remote Access VPN yang akan membentuk jaringan private (tunnel) ketika berkomunikasi pada jaringan backbone, maka dari itu dilakukan pengujian perbadingan enkripsi data dengan menggunakan metode IPsec dan AH_MD5-HMAC, Pada pengujian ini Metode IPSec lebih aman dari pada menggunakan metode AH-MD5-HMAC.
