Abstract
Aplikasi pemesanan ruang rapat merupakan aplikasi yang dibuat untuk menjawab permasalahan terkait sistem pemesanan yang masih manual. Manual yang dimaksud adalah masih melibatkan resepsionis dalam proses pencatatannya. Proses automasi yang dilakukan yaitu melalui perangkat Cisco IP Phone yang tidak hanya digunakan untuk menelpon tapi juga bisa melakukan integrasi dengan aplikasi pihak ketiga. Integrasi dilakukan dari cisco IP Phone yang teregistrasi ke CUCM (Cisco Unified Communication Manager) sebagai IP PBX dan dari IP PBX yang berkomunikasi langsung dengan server aplikasi. Bahasa yang digunakan agar dikenali oleh Cisco IP Phone adalah bahasa XML. Programmer dapat menggunakan bahasa pemrograman apapun namun saat ingin diintegrasikan dengan Cisco IP Phone, harus dilakukan konversi ke bahasa XML karena cisco IP Phone hanya dapat membaca dan menampilkan XML script. Untuk memastikan kepada pengguna bahwa pemesanan ruang rapat sudah berhasil dilakukan, sistem akan mengirimkan konfirmasi berupa email ke tiap pengguna yang berisi ruang rapat, tanggal serta waktu mulai dan berakhirnya rapat. Selain sebagai konfirmasi, email tersebut juga bisa digunakan sebagai pengingat agar pengguna tidak lupa. Dengan adanya aplikasi ini pengguna dapat melakukan pemesanan ruang rapat melalui eisco IP Phone yang mereka miliki di meja mereka masing-masing tanpa harus mengganggu waktu dari resepsionis. Kata kunci: Cisco IP Telephony, XML, Cisco Third Party Application. Meeting Room booking application is an application created to respond issues related to the manual booking system. The meaning of manual system is still involve the receptionist in the recording process. Automation process which is done is through the Cisco IP Phone that is not only used to make calls but also can integrate with the third-party applications. The integration is done from the Cisco IP Phone that is registered to CUCM (Cisco Unified Communications Manager) as an IP PBX and from PBX IP that communicates directly with the application server. The language used in order to be recognized by the Cisco IP Phone is an XML language. Programmers can use any programming language, but when it is being integrate with the Cisco IP Phone, the language must be converted to XML because of the Cisco IP Phone can only read and display the XML script. To assure users that the Ruang Rapat has been successful booking, the system will send a confirmation email to each user that contains the Ruang Rapat, the date and time of start and the end of the meeting. In Tambahition to the confirmation, the e-mail can also be used as a reminder. With this application, the users can book Ruang Rapats through the Cisco IP Phone that they have on their desk without having to disrupt the receptionist time.
