Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui makna kesejahteraan anak usia 4 – 6 tahun, kondisi yang diperlukan untuk menyejahterakan anak usia 4 – 6 tahun, faktor yang memengaruhi kesejahteraan anak usia 4 – 6 tahun, dan hal yang sudah dilakukan orang tua untuk menyejahterakan anak usia 4 – 6 tahun. Penelitian ini dilakukan kepada 42 pasang orang tua yang memiliki anak usia 4 – 6 tahun berdomisili di Jakarta Barat dengan metode wawancara menggunakan kuesioner essay. Analisis data dilakukan dengan cara mengkoding dan mengklasifikasi jawaban. Peneliti menggunakan teori dari UNICEF (2012), yang menyatakan well being anak pada delapan domain. Dari hasil penelitian, mengatakan bahwa terdapat perbedaan antara ibu dan ayah dalam menggambarkan well being anak. Ibu dan ayah memaknai kesejahteraan anak yaitu suatu kondisi terpenuhinya kebutuhan anak. Hasil lainnya berkaitan dengan kondisi yang dapat menyejahterakan anak, faktor yang memengaruhi kesejahteraan anak serta hal yang sudah dilakukan orang tua menunjukkan domain rumah baik dalam perspektif ibu ataupun ayah.This study aims to determine the meaning of the welfare of children aged 4-6 years, the conditions necessary for the welfare of children aged 4-6 years, the factors that affect the welfare of children aged 4-6 years, and things have been done parents for the welfare of children aged 4 - 6 years. This study was conducted to 42 sets of parents who have children aged 4-6 years live in West Jakarta by interview using a questionnaire essay. The data was analyzing using coding and classifying respondents answers. The questionnaire consists of four questions relating to the description of the child's welfare. Researchers used the theory of UNICEF (2012), which states well being of children in the eight domains. From the research, said that there were differences between mothers and fathers in describing the children well being. Mom and dad interpret the child's welfare is a condition the fulfillment of the needs of children. Other results related to conditions that can improve the life of children, factors that affect the welfare of the child as well as things that have been done of parents showed home domain both in the perspective of mother or father.
