Abstract
PT.DNP Indonesia was built since 1978. The Company was specializing in packaging industry that produces packaging for food and beverages, supplements, cosmetics, detergent and further more. PT.DNP have been tried to develop the efficiency for their existence in this globalization era. One of the ways efficiency is to makes “Kaizen” and always tries to solve problems that influence production, instance; the preparation-times didn’t achieve the target which had been set. The unaccomplished target was a predicament that causes by delaying the preparation-times for work-changing. Through this reason the job condition lately was ineffective. During this condition the suitable or normal time was indefinite for how long doing the “gusset” model work-changing or the “lorry” model work-changing. Afterward we need to arrange the correction step that to identifies problem and assert it, then follows by doing alternative correction and analyze the work system to achieve an effective work system that suitable or normal time as the result. Making a documenter (in movie) is the way to help or to simplify in every process analyze so every element are represent in a Stage Process Maps and a Flowchart, then we makes “Kaizen” to remove the unproductive activities or to add activities that helping Gravure work-changing for an affective work system. One of the model that being use to know normal time for work-changing is a Westhinghouse Method which in this method had four factor to assess (a skill, workings, work-condition and consistencies). Every factor were classifying in a group that have their rate. From this data process we can make conclusion that Gravure “gusset” model work-changing is better than Gravure “lorry” model work-changing because normal time of Gravure “gusset” model work-changing had 14.85 minutes while Gravure “lorry” model work-changing had 19 minutes. PT. Dai Nippon Printing Indonesia berdiri sejak tahun 1978. Perusahaan tersebut bergerak dalam bidang industri packaging atau industri yang memproduksi kemasan untuk makanan, minuman, obat-obatan, kosmetik, detergen dan lain lain. Dalam era globalisasi PT. Dai Nippon Printing berusaha meningkatkan efisiensi sehingga dapat terus eksis di dunia packaging. Salah satu cara meningkatkan efisiensi terus melakukan Kaizen dan selalu mencari permasalahan yang menghambat produksi untuk diperbaiki, seperti waktu persiapan belum mencapai target yang ditentukan Permasalahan yang ada sekarang adalah tidak tercapainya target, lamanya waktu persiapan, dimana waktu persiapan dipengaruhi oleh ganti kerja. Tidak tercapainya apa disebabkan karena ganti kerja yang lama atau kondisi kerja yang sekarang ini tidak efektif. Selama ini belum mengetahui berapa waktu yang pantas atau normal untuk melakukan waktu ganti kerja gravure baik untuk ganti kerja model gusset atau lori. Oleh karena itu perlu melakukan urutan langkah perbaikan yaitu identifikasi masalah, kemudian menetapkan masalah, alternative perbaikan dan melakukan analisa sistem kerja sehingga akan didapat sistem kerja yang efektif tetapi pantas atau normal. Untuk membantu atau mempemudah dalam analisa setiap proses dibuatkan documenter (film) sehingga setiap elemen dapat terlihat, Peta Aliran Proses dan Diagram Aliran, lalu dilakukan kaizen untuk menghilangkan aktfitas yang menghambat kerja atau menambahkan aktifitas untuk membantu proses ganti kerja gravure sehingga menjadi sistem kerja yang efisien. Salah satu model yang digunakan untuk mengetahui waktu normal ganti kerja adalah Metode Westhinghouse dimana dalam metode ini penilaian dibagi 4 faktor (skill, usaha, kondisi kerja dan konsistensi). Setiap faktor terbagi ke dalam kelas dengan nilai masing-masing. Dari pengolahan data dapat disimpulkan bahwa ganti kerja gravure model gusset lebih baik dari pada ganti kerja gravure model lori dan waktu normal untuk ganti kerja gravure per unit model gusset 14.85 menit sedangkan model lori 19 menit.
