Abstract
This Research explains exhaustively about the still high number of product defects in PT.TMS Tbk, such as fiber cable, which does not supply electrical power. The SCR engine can work with the optimal spare parts required by the MRP method and the knowledge and attitude of good employees against the SCR machine operator. SCR machines are very much affected by logistics. Conclusions in the procurement of spare parts with eleven percent of MRP method results have not been fulfilled but defective product finds have decreased by twenty six percent. The result of the knowledge questionnaire and attitude of PT. TMS Tbk employees shows positive significant improvement and positive reliability and logistics. In this case there is a need to refer to the department of human resources for employee training. Keyword: The MRP, the life time of spare parts, the quality of spare parts.Penelitian ini menjelaskan secara mendalam tentang masih banyaknya cacat produk yang tinggi di PT.TMS Tbk, seperti serat kabel tidak mengalirkan arus listrik. Mesin SCR dapat bekerja dengan optimal diperlukan sparepart dengan metode MRP serta pengetahuan dan sikap karyawan yang baik terhadap operator mesin SCR. Logistik sangatlah mempengaruhi mesin SCR. Kesimpulan dalam pengadaan sparepart dengan metode MRP hasilnya sebelas persen belum terpenuhi tetapi didapatkan penurunan cacat produk (wire road reject) sebesar duapuluh enam persen. Hasil kuesioner pengetahuan, sikap untuk karyawan PT.TMS Tbk didapatkan significan positif serta reliabilitas positif. Untuk logistik sudah baik. Dalam hal ini perlu merujuk ke departemen HRD untuk pelatihan karyawan. Kata kunci : MRP, life time dari sparepart, mutu sparepart.
