Abstract

Each power plant that operates continuously require good maintenance to the operating time (stream day) may approach and even reach its design capacity. To be able to create a maintenance plan (prevention or replacement) a good level of reliability required information (reliability) of each sub-system / components, and systems / units (plant). Plant reliability is a reliability level of analysis based on the level of plant reliability and relationships among its components. Analysis of plant reliability will result in mapping the level of reliability of each of the constituent systems and sub-system. Mapping the resulting level of reliability can be used to determine the interval of time between repairs so that the reliability of the unit increases. Thus efforts to raise stream day of a unit (the plant) can be done effectively and efficiently. This study aims to identify the reliability, availability and risk of TCG 2020 V20 Gas Engine Plant site Aquare Mangga Dua Jakarta. The reliability of the mapping will produce a sublevel of reliability than existing systems in gas engines. Reliability value calculation is based on damage data and operations over a ± 2 years previously had done the damage distribution test. Calculation of availability was also conducted to determine the level of asset availability and the accomplishment of the identification of risks. This was done to examine the extent to which the maintenance action conducted and the operational conditions for this can improve the reliability and availability and can anticipate the risks that may occur to minimize the occurrence of breakdown in the asset operational. From the results of identification to obtain the highest system reliability is 40.2% Generator cooling lowest was 6.5%. The availability of gas engines is very good that is equal to 98 245%, and while the identification of risk is known that the components in the subcritical systems, namely: Gas Regulator, Starter Regulator, and Starter Motor, thus requiring more attention to the condition, work load and maintenance activities performed on the subsystem. Improvements should need to do is to maximize the maintenance activities have been planned to re-evaluate the system operational time and determine the optimal inspection frequency so that the value of reliability is not currently identified a sharp decline with increase in operating hours of each system in power plant and thus affects the availability of the system to be able to fulfill its function.
