Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aimed to find out how planning, and controlling the cost of raw materials on which garment production companies using the services of sewing, embroidery, silk screening, and laundry outside parties. On this occasion, the authors conducted research at PT. Erandra Surya Manunggal. The research to provide information to company, as an input that can be used by companies in dealing with problems that may occur. The research method used is descriptive, while collecting data for the writing of this research through library research, field research by interview, and observation. Based on research results presented in paper form which is equipped tables, pictures, and attachments. Based on the calculation of the cost of key raw materials and auxiliary materials year period in 2009, the use of economic calculation methods such as Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) and Reorder Point in the handling of raw materials inventory fulfillment very benefit for the company because it can reduce the ordering cost of raw language, thereby increasing profit company.
