Abstract

ABSTRACT Financial Report is a very important tool to obtain information relating to the financial position and the results have been achieved by the company. If the financial data is compared and analyzed, it can be obtained by the company's financial performance which supports the decision taken by the parties concerned. The purpose of this paper is to estimate the performance of PT. Semen Gresik (Persero) Tbk. through the analysis of financial statements. Writing of this paper is using horizontal analysis, vertical analysis and ratio analysis. Based on the analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the PT. Semen Gresik is good enough in the year 2004-2007, although not experiencing a significant increase. Thus it is suggested that the management of PT. Semen Gresik should always perform analysis of financial statements in order to assess the financial performance of companies that managed so that it can implement policy decisions to improve company performance.
