Abstract

ABSTRACT This research is about factors that affect the public interest to use sharia banking services. The purpose of this research are to determine whether the service factor, financial factor, sharia factor, location factor and facilities, promotion factor and socialization affect the public interest to use sharia banking services. The research method used in this research is causal method. The kind of data in use are primary data. The data collection method used in this research are literature research method and field research method (method of quisioner and interviews). The data analysis method used in this research is statistical analysis. The result of this research will be showing that only financial factor does not have a significant effect on customer interest while service factor, sharia factor, location factor and facilities, and promotion factor and socialization have a significant effect on customer interest. Services factor, financial factor, sharia factor, location factor and facilities, and promotion and socialization jointly have a significant effect on customer services. Independent variables in this research could explain the dependent variable by 69% while the other 31% can be explained by other variables.
