Abstract

ABSTRACT Each company needs a good management of working capital to run their business effectively and efficiently. Generally, working capital derives from current assets disposal, short term investment, bank loan, etc. Sufficient working capital is very important, because it can protect company if facing crisis situation. If the company runs their business efficiently, they will get a good point of profitability and liquidity ratio. This research is using descriptive method which is qualitative and quantitative method. Qualitative analysis is comparing between company’s goal and company performance. Quantitative analysis is analyzing financial report by using profitability, solvability, and liquidity ratio. This research’s aim is to examine working capital management of PT. XYZ after their loss in 2004. The analysis result shows that the strategy of working capital management of PT. XYZ is good enough.
