Abstract
ABSTRACT This research is about the rentability compare analysis of sharia banks using profit loss approach and value added approach on PT BNI Sharia. The purpose of this study is to compare the rentability of PT BNI Sharia in 2007 and 2008 when analyzed by using profit loss approach and value added approach. This research uses descriptive quantitative and qualitative. This study shows that this value added approach than profit loss approach with score were ROA 5.75% and 5.95 %, ROE 761% and 694% by using value added approach, while using profit loss approach ROA 0.76% and 0.86 %, ROE 100% and 100% for the period of 2007 and 2008.
