Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Dividend Payout Ratio on stock prices in the manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). This study used secondary data from financial statements. Objects in this study is manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2008 to 2010. The sample sorting techniques for this study used purposive sampling method with the specified criterias. Data analysis methods were descriptive statistics, normality tests, simple linear regression analysis, testing the coefficient of determination (R2 ) and Hypothesis Tests (t Test Partial). Emperical evidence show that the dividen payout ratio ( DPR ) affect stock price at level of significance 0,05 as 0,046
