Abstract
This research was about applying of self asessmesnt system in tax Office (KPP) Pratama Jakarta Kebayoran Lama. The purpose of this research want to know the effectiveness of the applying of self asessment system that is refllected from PKP registered, calculation and reporting of Value Added Tax (PPN) from 2008 until 2010. This research was using or the deskriptif method for analysis method. The result of this research will be showing that applying of self assessment system of Value Added Tax in Tax Office (KPP) Pratama Jakarta Kebayoran Lama has been working effectively because of the amount PKP registered, calculation of Value Added Tax receipts and reporting the show of SPT Masa PPN has increased from 2008 until 2010, although there is still PKP is not entirely effective reporting.
