Abstract
This thesis discusses how the influence of marketing expenses to sales volumes at PT Maju Jaya Utama Lestari year period 2008 - 2009 and how much influence costs arising from marketing to sales volumes at PT Maju Jaya Utama Lestari year period from 2008 to 2009. The data obtained through research at PT Maju Jaya Utama Lestari. While analysis tools used Komogrov Smirnov normality test, simple regression analysis, and using t test on the hypothesis. The results obtained on the contribution of independent variable marketing costs to sales volume amounted to 11.3% followed by t test showed Ha accepted because t count is 2.720 greater than t table is 2.000 so Ha is received, meaning that it can be concluded in the current study the cost variable marketing expenses affect the sales volumes Keywords : Cost Accounting, Marketing Expenses, Sales Volume
