Abstract
WIMAX adalah broadband nirkabel yang mengadopsi sistem berbasis pada spesifikasi IEEE 802.16 yang mendefinisikan layer PHY dan MAC, untuk kedua profil tetap dan bergerak. Sistem WIMAX efektif mendukung berbagai akses nirkabel broadband (BWA) teknologi (termasuk internet kecepatan tinggi dan akses multimedia) dengan kualitas layanan tinggi (QoS) persyaratan untuk mendukung flesibilitas, efisien dan berbagai persyaratan QoS rentan aplikasi berbeda dan beberapa lingkungan pengadaan dan mekanisme yang disediakan dalam standar. Dalam tulisan ini QoS berbagai ketentuan yang dianalisis untuk trafik aplikasi yang berbeda. Pengaruh Adaptif Modulasi Coding (AMC) mekanisme meningkatkan QoS kinerja jaringan dalam hal throughput, packet loss, dan delay. Kata kunci: Wimax,QoS, QoS Mekanisme AMC
