Abstract

In the world of education, determinant and matrix is one of the matter that you learned in courses Linear Algebra and Matrix. To find a determinant values and operational result matrix must go through a number of ways that long-term, but at this time many applications calculations that built to be used in computer equipment. Application solutions calculating determinant and matrix was made by using programming language visual basic.net, which is the language object-oriented programming that support. The aims of creating applications depository account determinant and matrix nxn is to help resolve the count in the search operations and matrix determinant. Application solutions calculating determinant and matrix designed by using methods waterfall that started at the level and progress system at all analysis, design, the code, testing, and maintenance that will be done in sequence to produce test data that is true. From test result black box and white hox can be said that the application solutions Calculating Determinant and Matrix NxN, this can function well and correctly, because according to the results have been scenario in testing applications. Key Words Determinant. Matrix, Visual Basic.net. Waterfall Dalam dunia pendidikan, determinan dan matriks adalah salah satu materi yang dipelajari dalam mata kuliah Aljabar Linear dan Matriks. Untuk mencari suatu nilai determinan dan hasil operasi matriks harus melalui beberapa cara yang panjang, maka pada saat ini banyak aplikasi perhitungan yang dibangun khusus untuk digunakan pada perangkat komputer. Aplikasi penyelesaian perhitungan determinan dan matriks ini dibuat dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman visual basic.net yaitu bahasa pemrograman yang mendukung berorientasi objek. Tujuan dari pembuatan aplikasi penyelesaian perhitungan determinan dan matriks nën ini untuk membantu menyelesaikan perhitungan pada operasi matriks dan pencarian nilai determinan. Aplikasi penyelesaian perhitungan determinan dan matriks dirancang dengan menggunakan metodologi waterfall yang mulai pada tingkat dan kemajuan sistem pada seluruh analisis, desain, kode, pengujian, dan pemeliharan yang dilakukan secara berurutan hingga menghasilkan data pengujian yang benar. Dari hasil pengujian black box dan white box dapat dikatakan bahwa Aplikasi Penyelesaian Perhitungan Determinan dan Matriks NxN, ini dapat berfungsi dengan baik dan benar, karena telah sesuai dengan hasil skenario pada pengujian aplikasi NIVERSITAS MERCU BUANA Kata Kunci: Determinan, Matriks, Visual Basic.Net, Waterfall
