Abstract
Peliputan berita adalah proses pengumpulan data dan informasi di lapangan yang dilakukan wartawan atau jurnalis. Proses ini bisa berupa pemantauan langsung dan pencatatan suatu peristiwa yang terjadi atau juga wawancara dengan sejumlah narasumber. Dalam peliputan umumnya jurnalis melakukan perekaman baik suara maupun gambar dengan alat bantu seperti perekam suara (tape recorder) atau kamera untuk memotret. Untuk berita penyiaran televisi, peliputan umumnya dilakukan dengan kamera video yang merekam jalannya peristiwa. Informasi atau berita dewasa ini merupakan hal yang sangatlah penting, dimanapun dan kapanpun setiap orang pasti akan memerlukan suatu informasi baik itu informasi dalam bentuk berita ataupun informasi - informasi lainnya. Media untuk mendapatkan berita sekarang ini sangatlah banyak antara lain surat kabar, televisi, radio, internet dan masih banyak lagi. Berita yang aktual dan cepat sampai pada penerima informasi sangatlah penting. Oleh karena itu di perlukan pengembangan sistem penyampaian berita yang cepat serta aktual menggunakan berbasis web. Dalam melakukan pencarian berita dengan menggunakan peliputan mendalam diperlukan adanya rapat proyeksi, dibuatnya outline, pembagian tim, observasi, pendekatan persuasif dengan narasumber, sehingga disajikan berita secara mendalam, objektif, dan faktual. Pencarian berita dengan menggunakan peliputan mendalam (depth reporting) untuk memperoleh berita yang lebih objektif dan mendalam dengan cara mengobservasi, membuat kerangka, membuat tim wartawan dalam melakukan peliputan. Kata Kunci : Informasi, Peliputan Berita, Pencarian Berita News coverage is the process of collecting data and information in the field who do journalists or journalists. Media to get the word out now is very much including newspapers, television, radio, internet and much more. Actual news and quickly arrive at the receiver of information is essential. It is therefore in need of the development of fast news delivery system as well as the actual use of web-based. To search news using depth coverage necessary to meeting projections, made an outline, division teams, observation, persuasive approach with sources, so the news is presented in depth, objective and factual. News search using deep coverage (depth reporting) to obtain a more objective news and in-depth by observing the outline, making team of journalists in doing coverage.
