Abstract
Pada masa ini perkembangan sistem teknologi informasi sagat pesat. Semua hal dalam segala aspek kehidupan manusia sekarang ini, tidak bisa terlepas dari teknologi informasi. Selain penggunaan teknologi yang efektif dan efisien, sistem yang berjalan dalam sebuah organisasi juga sangat berpengaruh dalam sistem kinerja organisasi tersebut. Sebuah perusahaan dapat memiliki kinerja yang baik maka dibutuhkan suatu sistem yang baik juga, sehingga dapat membantu organisasi dalam mencapai tujuan dengan mengelola data dan penggunaan sumber daya yang efektif dan efisien. Bengkel Elis Motor merupakan sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak dalam hal penjualan sparepart dan services motor, pentingnya pengelolaan administrasi yang baik diharapkan dapat memberi acuan untuk mengoptimalkan seluruh karyawan agar menjalankan fungsinya dengan baik. Tetapi dalam Bengkel Elis Motor ini pimpinan masih sering kesulitan untuk mendapatkan data dan informasi yang cepat, tepat dan akurat, karena semua dokumen transaksi penjualan dan services masih mengunakan sistem manual, seperti proses pembautan laporan-laporan maupun bukti-bukti transaksi, sehingga pencarian data dan pembuatan laporan tidak efektif. Dari permasalahan di atas, maka perlunya sebuah aplikasi untuk mempermudah proses administrasi yang masih manual ke sistem terkomputerisasi sehingga hasilnya menjadi lebih efektif. Maka dukungan sistem informasi sangat diperlukan untuk meningkatkan kinerja pada perusahaan Bengkel Elis Motor ini. Sehubungan dengan hal tersebut maka penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan merancang sebuah sistem administrasi penjualan berbasis PHP dan MySql sehingga dapat meningkatkan efektifitas, kemudahan dalam pembuatan laporan. Dalam perancangan sistem informasi yang dibangun dalam tugas akhir ini menggunakan teknik pemrograman berorentasi objek, yaitu Unified Modeling Language (UML), dan model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model Prototype. Workshop Elis Motors is a company engaged in the sale of spare parts and motorcycle services, the importance of good administration is expected to give a reference for optimizing all employees to carry out their functions properly. But in this leadership workshop Motor Elis still often difficult to obtain data and information quickly, precisely and accurately, because all sales transaction documents and services are still using manual systems, such as process pembautan reports and evidence of transactions, so that the data retrieval and reporting is not effective. Of the above problems, the need for an application to simplify administrative processes are still manual to a computerized system so that the results become more effective. Then the support of information systems is necessary to improve the performance of the company's Motor Workshop Elis. In this regard, this research was conducted in order to design a sales administration system based on PHP and MySQL that can increase the effectiveness, ease of report generation. In the design of information systems are built in this thesis using object oriented programming technique, ie the Unified Modeling Language (UML), and the development model used is the prototype models.
