Abstract
With the development of science and technology are so rapid to be followed by the development of electronic technology such as the use of such technology is developed and used for various purposes to assist people in resolving various problems that exist in the vicinity. Being currently the most developed is the development of information technology, technology in the form of a tool or tools that can be touched, while the information is a description of the facts that is and has been happening. The word "system" is commonly used in everyday conversation, discussion forums and scientific documents. This word is used for many things, and in many areas anyway, so it means to be diverse. In the most general sense, a system is a set of objects that have a relationship between them. One application of information technology mentioned above is the construction of "APPLICATION PANDU LOGISTICS FLEET MANAGEMENT SYSTEM USING JAVA". With the construction of the application is aimed so that more users will interact with the digital data stored in the database. The application is built using the Java programming language technology applications netbeans as layout editor interface, in addition to the media as the data container is to use the MySQL database as data storage for some specific types of installation packages. Keywords: Java, NetBeans, MySQL systems, information technology https://lib.mercubuana.ac.id v ABSTRAK Dengan berkembangnya ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi yang sedemikian pesat dengan diikuti oleh berkembangnya teknologi elektronik seperti saat ini maka penggunaan teknologi tersebut dikembangkan dan dimanfaatkan untuk berbagai macam kepentingan untuk membantu manusia dalam menyelesaikan berbagai macam permasalahan yang ada di sekitarnya. Sedang saat ini yang paling banyak dikembangkan adalah pengembangan teknologi informasi, teknologi berupa alat atau perkakas yang dapat disentuh, sedangkan informasi adalah deskripsi dari faktafakta yang sedang dan telah terjadi. Kata "sistem" banyak sekali digunakan dalam percakapan sehari-hari, dalam forum diskusi maupun dokumen ilmiah. Kata ini digunakan untuk banyak hal, dan pada banyak bidang pula, sehingga maknanya menjadi beragam. Dalam pengertian yang paling umum, sebuah sistem adalah sekumpulan benda yang memiliki hubungan di antara mereka. Salah satu penerapan teknologi informasi tersebut di atas adalah dengan dibangunnya “APLIKASI SISTEM PENGELOLAAN ARMADA PANDU LOGISTICS MENGGUNAKAN JAVA”. Dengan dibangunnya aplikasi tersebut bertujuan supaya pengguna akan lebih banyak berinteraksi dengan data digital tersimpan di dalam database. Aplikasi tersebut dibangun dengan menggunakan teknologi bahasa pemrograman java dengan aplikasi netbeans sebagai editor tata letak Antarmuka, selain itu sebagai media penampung data adalah dengan digunakannya database MySQL sebagai penyimpan data untuk beberapa jenis paket installasi tertentu.
