Abstract

The needs of the final assignment document by students are often constrained by library regulations. The regulation restrict the distribution of the document, so students have to visit the library very often. then it would be better, if we made a computerized system that can share documents in digital form, based on the existing problem, the author makes a digital document repository systems based online library. This application allows students to search and download final assignment document from within and outside the campus. The method used in this study is the Waterfall method which includes systems engineering, analysis, design, coding, testing and maintenance. The results showed that the application works fine in a shared document, and also in the search for documents based on keywords inputted by students. But , the new test will be done offline in a single PC, expected that these applications , can provide convenience in searching and downloading Students particular final assignment document. Keyword : Repository, Digital Document, Online Library Kebutuhan Mahasiswa terhadap Dokumen Tugas Akhir , seringkali terkendala dengan peraturan pihak perpustakaan yang membatasi ruang gerak suatu dokumen, sehingga Mahasiswa kerapkali harus mengunjungi perpustakaan. Akan lebih baik , jika dibuat suatu sistem secara terkomputerisasi yang dapat berbagi dokumen dalam bentuk digital. Berdasarkan permasalahan yang ada, penulis membuat suatu sistem Repository dokumen digital berbasis perpustakaan online . Aplikasi ini memungkinkan Mahasiswa dalam pencarian , maupun pengunduhan dokumen Tugas Akhir dari dalam maupun luar kampus. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Waterfall , yang meliputi sistem engineering, analisa, desain, koding, testing dan maintenance. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi ini berfungsi dengan baik dalam berbagi dokumen, dan juga dalam mencari dokumen berdasarkan kata kunci yang diinput oleh Mahasiswa. Akan tetapi, pengujian baru dilakukan secara offline dalam satu PC, diharapkan dengan adanya aplikasi ini , dapat memberi kemudahan Mahasiswa dalam pencarian dan pengunduhan khususnya dokumen Tugas Akhir.
