Abstract
Now the development of technology is very evolving. Most of institutions in social, governance, security and education sector is currently usingthe help of technology, especially computers to simplify their work processes.The administering of thesis particularly in the Department of Information Engineeringof Computer Science is mostly manual, such as doing the final proposal project manually.Therefore, a computer-based application which can help in solving the problems occurred is needed in order to simplify the process of administering the final project.This application has a proposal-uploading facility that allows students to upload the final proposal project without having to come to campus, and it has also a proposal-status facility that aims to see the status of the proposal submitted by students whether or not it is approved by the coordinators of the final project who choose advisors for students.Moreover, it has a finalproject-report facility which makes the final project done by students controlled by noting any guidance reports.This application has been tested by using black box method in which all the functions that exist in the application can run well. This application has been successfully made in accordance with the desired design. Key terms : Upload Proposal, Control, Final Project. Delphi Perkembangan teknologi saat ini sudah sangat berkembang pesat. Hampir semua instituisi di bidang sosial, pemerintahan, keamanan maupun pendidikan saat ini menggunakan bantuan teknologi, khususnya komputer untuk mengefektifkan proses kerja mereka. Saat ini pengontrolan tugas akhir khususnya di program studi Teknik Informatika Fakultas Ilmu Komputer pada umumnya masih bersifat manual. Seperti melakukan pengajuan proposal tugas akhir yang dilakukan secara manual. Maka diperlukan suatu aplikasi berbasis komputer yang dapat membantu dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan yang terjadi, agar mempermudah dalam proses pengontrolan tugas akhir. Pada aplikasi ini terdapat fasilitas upload proposal yang berfungsi agar mahasiswa dapat mengupload proposal tugas akhir tanpa harus datang ke kampus dan terdapat fasilitas status proposal yang berfungsi untuk melihat status proposal yang diajukan oleh mahasiswa apakah disetujui atau tidak disetujui oleh koordinator TA dimana koordinator TA dapat memilihkan dosen pembimbing untuk mahasiswa. Terdapat juga fasilitas laporan perkembangan tugas akhir yang berfungsi agar tugas akhir yang dikerjakan oleh mahasiswa dapat dikontrol perkembangannya dengan mencatat laporan setiap melakukan bimbingan. Aplikasi ini telah diuji dengan menggunakan metode black box dimana seluruh fungsi-fungsi yang ada dalam aplikasi dapat berjalan dengan baik. Aplikasi ini telah berhasil dibuat sesuai dengan rancangan yang diinginkan. Kata kunci :Upload Proposal, Pengontrolan, Tugas Akhir, Delphi
