Abstract

Mount Bromo is an active volcano to this day, and one of the mainstay of the Provincial Government of East Java. Watch the sunrise from the summit of this mountain is one of the moments that are often sought after by the tourists. Mount Bromo Tourist Information Distribution Application Based Animation is clear form the role of information technology. This application has a role as a promotion media to the public and to increase tourist visits to a development and tourism development. Keywords: Mount Bromo, ecotourism, multimedia Gunung Bromo merupakan gunung berapi yang masih aktif sampai dengan saat ini dan merupakan salah satu tempat wisata andalan Pemerintah Provinsi Jawa Timur. Menyaksikan terbitnya matahari dari puncak gunung ini merupakan salah satu momen yang sering dicari oleh para wisatawan. Aplikasi Penyebaran Informasi Wisata Gunung Bromo Berbasis Animasi merupakan bentuk nyata peran teknologi informasi khususnya animasi multimedia. Aplikasi ini memiliki peran sebagai media promosi kepada publik dan meningkatkan kunjungan wisatawan untuk suatu pengembangan dan pembangunan pariwisata.
