Abstract
Analysis is the process of assessing a complex problem and grouping them into smaller parts to gain a better understanding of the problem. Forensic databases in computer science deals with the security issues and track record of user activity in the database. Data security is a hotly discussed topic, especially since cloud computing is becoming a trend in the world of business computing. Along with the rapid data data growth, an organization may have a number of databases that are spread across multiple locations. Audit management needs to be implemented to ensure data privacy. This is where ODFA (Oracle Database Forensic Analysis) comes into play. ODFA is specially designed for DBA (Database Administrator) to facilitate audit process and configure policy related to database security so that the whole process of audit management and analysis can be done in a single interface. As the name implies, ODFA devoted to Oracle Database. Oracle Database is the name of one of the software RDBMS (Relational Database Management System) which is commonly used as the central of critical data repository. ODFA is fast, accurate, comprehensive, and real-time in configuring auditing and analyzing against more than one Oracle Database. Thus, ODFA can improve DBA productivity.
