Abstract
Web merupakan salah satu sumber informasi. Berbagai aplikasi web dibuat dengan tujuan agar pemakai dapat berinteraksi dengan penyedia informasi dengan mudah dan cepat, melalui dunia internet. Aplikasi web tidak lagi terbatas sebagai pemberi informasi yang statis, melainkan juga mampu memberikan informasi yang berubah secara dinamis, dengan cara melakukan koneksi dengan database. PT XYZ menyimpan data-data pada sistem informasi sertifikasi seluruh unit-unit usahanya. Apabila dibutuhkan sertifikasi suatu produk baru maka diperlukan waktu yang cukup lama. Hal ini dapat mengakibatkan proses produksi secara masal produk baru ini memerlukan waktu lama. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan suatu perangkat lunak yang berbasis web untuk mengolah data sertifikasi dan informasi tersebut. Dengan diterapkannya sistem informasi sertifikasi yang terkomputerisasi dan berbasis web proses yang terjadi dapat mengatasi kesulitan-kesulitan yang dihadapi.
