Abstract

Google Maps adalah layanan gratis google yang memberikan informasi suatu lokasi serta objek wisata yang berada di daerah tertentu. Akan tetapi masih sangat sedikit sistem yang dapat memberikan informasi objek wisata menggunakan google maps, dengan ini saya mencoba case study objek wisata dengan penerapan google maps. Aplikasi ini memberikan informasi berupa objek-objek wisata dipulau Sumatera, transportasi,arah jalan dan lokasi objek wisata yang di tampilkan dengan google maps. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode waterfall. Dengan dibuatnya website "Ensiklopedia Objek Wisata Pulau Sumatera Berbasis Web", wisatawan dapat memperoleh informasi berupa lokasi,transportasi serta arah jalan menuju tempat lokasi dengan google maps. Kata Kunci: Ensiklopedia, Google Maps, Objek Wisata, Sumatera Google Maps is a free Google service that provides information on a location and attractions that are in a particular area. However, still very few systems that can provide information using google maps attraction. I tried with this case study attraction with google maps application. This application provides information such sights island of Sumatra, transportation, directions and tourist sites that appear in the google maps. Metode used in this study using the waterfall method. We make websites "Encyclopedia of Sumatra Island Attractions Based Web", the visitor can reach information about transportation and direction from google maps.
