Abstract
Monitoring of traffic bandwidth usage on a network to be important thing for a network administrators to realize the service integrity of a brokerage firm such as PT. Midtou Aryacom Futures. To avoid delay, overload and downtime problems, the administrator must have a tool which is have the ability to monitor the network continuously. For that purpose, it needs a network monitoring system like ZABBIX which is able to provide visualization of traffic bandwidth usage and at the same time is able to detect common problems appear in a network. This network monitoring system created using Slackware, MariaDB, PHP and SNMP. Once implemented, the system is capable of providing bandwidth usage visualizations and help the administrators in the monitoring process to secure the company's strategic assets. Keywords : Network monitoring system, Network management system, traffic, Slackware, ZABBIX, MariaDB, PHP, SNMP Pemantauan terhadap trafik penggunaan bandwidth pada sebuah jaringan menjadi hal penting bagi seorang administrator jaringan dalam mewujudkan integritas pelayanan sebuah perusahaan pialang seperti PT. Midtou Aryacom Futures. Masalah delay, bandwidth overload dan downtime yang harus dihindari, mengharuskan administrator untuk memiliki sebuah alat yang mampu memantau jaringan secara terus-menerus. Untuk itulah diperlukan sebuah sistem monitoring jaringan seperti ZABBIX yang mampu memberikan visualisasi trafik penggunaan bandwidth sekaligus mampu mendeteksi gangguan-gangguan yang umum terjadi pada suatu jaringan. Sistem monitoring jaringan ZABBIX ini dibangun menggunakan Slackware, MariaDB, PHP dan SNMP. Setelah diimplementasikan, sistem ini mampu memberikan visualisasi penggunaan bandwidth yang dapat membantu administrator jaringan dalam proses pemantauan jaringan sehingga dapat mengamankan aset-aset strategis perusahaan.
