Abstract
Server web adalah sebuah aplikasi server yang melayani permintaan HTTP (Hyper Text Transfer Protocol) atau HTTPS (Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secure) dari web browser dan mengirimkannya kembali dalam bentuk halamanhalaman web. Monitoring yaitu kegiatan yang dilakukan untuk mengecek penampilan dari aktivitas yang sedang dikerjakan. Monitoring adalah bagian dari kegiatan pengawasan, dalam pengawasan terdapat aktivitas memantau (monitoring), pemantauan umumnya dilakukan untuk tujuan tertentu, untuk memeriksa apakah program yang telah berjalan itu sesuai dengan sasaran atau sesuai dengan tujuan dari program. Pada aplikasi monitoring server web, seorang administrator pengguna aplikasi monitoring tersebut, dengan memasukan alamat website yang akan dimonitoring, administrator dapat melihat status server web tersebut, apakah dalam keadaan hidup atau mati, dan administrator juga dapat melihat performa sebuah server web, yang dilihat dari berapa lama waktu yang dibutuhkan ketika server web sedang melayani permintaan dari klien ke server Kata Kunci : Monitoring, Server web Web server is an application server that is serving the request of HTTP (Hyper Text Transfer Protocol) or HTTPS (Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secure) from a web browser and send it back in the form of web pages. Monitoring that the activities carried out to check the appearance of the activity that is being done. Monitoring is part of the monitoring activities, the monitoring activity is watching (monitoring), monitoring is generally done for a specific purpose, to examine whether the program has been running it according to the targets or in accordance with the objectives of the program. On the web server monitoring application, an administrator user of the monitoring application, by entering the website address to be monitored, administrators can view the status of the web server, whether alive or dead, and administrators can also view the performance of a web server, which is seen from how it takes a long time when the web server is serving requests from the client to the server.
