Abstract

Penyajian informasi ketersediaan tiket yang masih manual menjadi salah satu permasalahan yang dialami oleh jasa transportasi umum karena calon penumpang harus datang ke loket untuk mengetahui ketersediaan tiket. Oleh karena itu perlu adanya suatu sistem pemesanan tiket bus Pada saat ini perkembangan teknologi sangat pesat. Terutama di bidang teknologi informasi, dimana penggunaan komputer sangat dibutuhkan untuk melakukan segala hal sehingga dapat meringankan pekerjaan kita. Saat ini pengelolahan data untuk pemesanan serta penjualan tiket bus yang diterapakan di beberapa perusahaan bus masih dirasakan kurang akurat. Sebenarnya bisa dikerjakan dengan komputerisasi, salah satunya adalah untuk pengelolahan Data pemesanan bus pada perusahaan Po.Muara Dua Express dengan menggunakan program pemesanan tiket secara terkomputerisasi tersebut. Data dari hasil penjualan tiket bus ini dapat disimpan ke dalam suatu database supaya data tersebut siap digunakan dan dapat dilihat sewaktu waktu bila database tersebut diperlukan sewaktu waktu. Di dalam Penulisan Ilmiah ini dibahas tentang pembuatan sistem pemesanan tiket Bus Po. Muaradua Express dengan menggunakan php dan database mysql. yang dapat berfungsi sebagai alat bantu untuk pengelolahan data pemesanan tiket pada PO. Muaradua Express. Adanya sistem pemesanan tiket bus ini daharapkan dapat mempermudah pekerjaan pada bagian pemesanan tiket bus pelanggan untuk mencatat maupun mencari data pelanggan dan memudahkan dalam pembuatan laporan yang diperlukan pemilik maupun petugas loket. Dengan demikian pelayanan jasa pada Po. Muaradua Express dapat berjalan secara efektif dan efisien.
