Abstract

Restoran adalah ruangan atau tempat dengan segala fasilitasnya yang menyediakan makanan dan minuman serta pelayanannya yang disesuaikan dengan permintaan pelanggan atau konsumen. Dengan adanya restoran memudahkan para pecinta kuliner atau hanya sekedar mencicipi makanan yang disajikan di dalam restoran tersebut. Menu yang telah disediakan membuat pelanggan dapat memilih dengan leluasa dengan selera masing – masing. Rancangan sistem pemesanan menu ini akan memberikan informasi yang disajikan oleh pihak restoran menu makanan dan minuman apa saja yang di berikan, selain itu pelanggan dapat memesan dengan sendiri dan mengetahui biaya atau harga makanan dan minuman yang telah tertera di dalamnya tanpa perlu repot dengan menggunakan kertas untuk mencatat pesanan para pelanggan. Sehingga dapat memudahkan para pegawai restoran dalam mengerjakan tugasnya masing – masing dan pegawai dapat lebih fokus dalam pekerjaannya. Dalam perancangan sistem pemesanan menu yang dibangun di dalam tugas akhir ini menggunakan teknik pemprograman berorientasi objek, yaitu Unified Modeling Language ( UML ). Dan model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model spiral. Sistem pemesanan menu pada restoran basilico ini di rancang menggunakan HTML, PHP, dan MySQL sebagai basis datanya. The restaurant is a room or a place with all the amenities that provide food and beverage and services tailored to the customer or consumer demand. With the restaurant facilitate culinary connoisseurs or just taste the food served in the restaurant. The menu has been provided to make the customer can choose freely to the taste of each - each. The design of the menu ordering system will provide information that is presented by the restaurant menu food and drink whatever is given, other than that the customer can order by themselves and knowing the cost or price of food and drinks that have been listed in it without having to bother with using the paper to note the order of the customer. So as to facilitate the top personnel in doing their duty - each and employees can focus more on the job. In designing the menu ordering system built in this thesis uses object-oriented programming technique, ie the Unified Modeling Language (UML). And the development model used is the spiral model. Restaurant menu ordering system on this basilico designed using HTML, PHP, and MySQL as itsdatabase.
