Abstract

Sistem informasi akademik Universitas Mercu Buana atau bisa disebut SIA UMB adalah sebuah perangkat lunak yang mengolah dan menyajikan data-data akademik berbasis web. Sistem informasi akademik terutama modul Persiapan Perkuliahan dirancang untuk mengolah dan menyajikan data proses kegiatan persiapan perkuliahan. Proses kegiatan Persiapan Perkuliahan meliputi pengalokasian atribut mahasiswa (nim), pengisian KRS, pengalokasian mata kuliah – dosen dan pengalokasian ruang kuliah yaitu penjadwalan mata kuliah, dosen, waktu dan ruang. Dalam perancangan perangkat lunak ini , penulis menggunakan metode waterfall dengan pendekatan berorientasi objek yang terbagi menjadi tiga model jenis diagram yaitu adalah: Activity Diagram untuk menjelaskan alur proses bisnis, Use Case Diagram untuk menjelaskan fungsi atau layanan yang disediakan oleh sistem, dan Sequence Diagram untuk menjelaskan interaksi pengguna dengan sistem. Dalam implementasi penulis menggunakan bahasa pemerograman php dan framework codeigniter (CI). Untuk sistem manajemen basis data menggunakan MySQL Kata Kunci : Sistem Informasi Akademik, modul persiapan perkuliahan, prototipe Academic Information System Mercu Buana University or can be called SIA UMB is a software process and present the data in a web -based academic . Academic Information System especially Lecture Preparation modules are designed to process and present data preparation process of the lecture . Process Preparation Class activities include the allocation of student attributes ( nim ) , KRS , allocation of subjects - lecturers and lecture space allocation is the scheduling of courses, faculty , time and space . In software design , the author uses the waterfall method with object -oriented approach which is divided into three types of diagram that models are : Activity diagram to describe the business process flow , Use Case Diagram to explain the functions or services provided by the system , and the Sequence Diagram to explain user interaction with the system . In the implementation of the writer uses language and pemerograman php framework CodeIgniter ( CI ) .
