Abstract
Penyebaran informasi kepada khalayak ramai akan sangat berguna jika informasi yang diberikan dalam berbagai bentuk media, sebagai contoh penggabungan video dengan animasi teks berjalan. Hal ini sudah banyak dilihat di berita TV saat ini, dan cukup informatif untuk memberikan tambahan informasi. Sedangkan untuk membuatnya diperlukan beberapa perangkat pendukung. Akan lebih mudah dan murah jika dibangun sebuah aplikasi untuk menggabungkan video dan teks berjalan. Kemudian menggunakan teknologi Java yang mendukung berbagai konten multimedia, dan codec dari VLC, aplikasi publikasi digital coba dirancang pada penelitian ini. Konsep layout untuk menjalankan konten multimedia digunakan, sehingga konten multimedia (video dan teks berjalan) dapat dijalankan bersamaan dalam sebuah aplikasi. Hasil pengujian dengan metode black box menunjukkan aplikasi dapat berjalan dengan baik dan dapat menjalankan berbagai macam format video berdasarkan codec di VLC. Akan lebih baik jika dalam aplikasi ditambahkan panel pengendali video. Kata Kunci: Media Informasi, Konten Multimedia, Video, Animasi Teks Dissemination of information to the public would be very useful if the information provided in various forms of media, for example merging video with text animation runs. It would be easier and cheaper if built an application to combine video and text walk. Then using Java technology that supports a range of multimedia content and codec from VLC, digital publishing application designed to try this study. The concept layouts to run multimedia content is used, so that multimedia content (video and text runs) can be run simultaneously in an application. The test results showed the black box method applications can run well and can run a wide range of video formats based on VLC codec.
