Abstract

saat ini banyaknya masyarakat indonesia mengalami penyempitan lahan di dalam dan diluar rumah dikarenakan banyaknya barang yang bertambah setiap tahunya atau pun membangunan yang terus meningkat, mengakibatkan penyempitan secara langsung atau tidak langsung pada dalam rumah. Keadaan inilah yang mendorong perancang untuk merancang sebuah furnitur yang dapat menghemat ruangan dan multifungsi, bertujuan untuk mengatasi penyempitan ruangan secara langsung dan tidak langsung yang diakibatkan mebel(furniture) yang besar dan memakan tempat. Dekedibox Workspace adalah mebel(furniture) yang dirancang untuk mengahadapi masalah ruang sempit. DekediBOX Workspace merupakan salah satu dari 3 produk R-Seris dari Brand dekediBOX yang dirancang untuk tempat seperti kamar kosan dan apartemen studio yang memiliki ruangan sedikit. Tujuan perancangan dekediWorkspace ini untuk memperlihatkan bahwa mebel(furniture) pada dalam rumah tidak perlu besar dan memakan tempat. DekediBOX Workspace di desain dengan meja yang dapat digeser kedalam dan keluar agar dapat memberi ruang yang dibutuhkan. Dengan desain yang minimalis dan menerapkan bentuk yang paling simpel yaitu kotak. Diharapkan dekediBOX Workspace dapat mengubah pemikiran masyarakat akan mebel(furniture) yang bisa menghemat ruangan. currently the number of Indonesian society have been expiriancing area constriction inside or outside of their houses because the number of items increased every year or rapid defelopment of buildings, resulting directly or indirectly narrowing the area of the house. This condition encourages the designer to design a furniture which can save space and multifunctional, aims to overcome the narrowing space directly and indirectly as a result of large furniture that comsume space.Dekedibox furniture Workspace is designed to confront the problem of narrow space. DekediBOX Workspace is one of the 3 products of RSeries of dekediBOX Brand which designed to places such as boarding rooms and studio apartments that have little spaces. The purpose of designing dekediWorkspace is to show that the furniture does not need to be big and consume space. DekediBOX Workspace is design with a table that slides in and out in order to provide the required space. With a minimalist design and implement the most simple form of box. Workspace dekediBOX expected to change people's minds about furniture that could save space.
