Abstract

Sistem Informasi Akademik adalah suatu sistem yang dirancang untuk keperluan pengolahan data-data akademik dengan penerapan teknologi komputer baik hardware maupun software.Prototipe aplikasi sistem informasi akademik Universitas Mercu Buana modul proses wisuda ini merupakan pengembangan dari sistem informasi akademik yang sudah ada, dimana aplikasi ini didesain untuk menampilkan form pendaftaran wisuda dan form data alumni secara online, yang semula mahasiswa mendaftar wisuda secara manual.Prototipe aplikasi ini menerapkan metode WaterFall, dirancang dengan bahasa pemrograman PHP(PHP: Hypertext Prepocessor) dan kerangka kerja codeigniter sedangkan basis datanya menggunakan MySQL.Setelah aplikasi ini selesai dan dilakukan pengujian maka proses pendaftaran wisuda dapat lebih cepat dan efesien. Metode manajemen proyek perangkat lunak, juga diterapkan pada aplikasi ini, dimana setiap modul dikerjakan oleh masing-masing individu kemudian digabungkan ke Sistem informasi akademik Universitas Mercu Buana. Kata Kunci : Sistem Informasi Akademik, Modul Wisuda. Academic Information System is a system designed for the purposes of academic data processing with the application of computer technology hardware and software.Prototype academic information system Mercu Buana University graduation module is the development of academic information system that already exists , in which the application is designed to display the registration form graduation and manage alumnus data , which was originally a graduation student enroll in this application apply manual.The WaterFall method and this application developed by the programming language PHP ( PHP : Hypertext Prepocessor ) and codeIgniter framework while using a data base application MySQL.After this application is completed, we test the registration process so the application process can be faster and efficiently . Methods of project management software , is also applied to this application , where each module is done by each individual are then combined to academic information system Mercu Buana University .
