Abstract
Running has become an increasingly popular physical activity in Indonesia, reflecting an urban lifestyle that emphasizes health and productivity. Although the utilization of mobile fitness applications is growing rapidly, most existing platforms still focus solely on recording raw statistical performance without considering the reflective aspects and personalization of the running experience. This study is part of a joint research project aimed at designing and implementing a high-fidelity prototype of the Diary Runners application as a digital companion to monitor performance while maintaining runner motivation. The scope of this research is focused on the core modules of the system, including: authentication, the main dashboard, running activity recording, training plan formulation, weekly statistical charts, and smart insight features using a limited Business Intelligence (BI) approach at descriptive and diagnostic analysis levels. The system development method employs Rapid Application Development (RAD) through four phases: requirements planning, user design, construction, and cutover. In the activity recording module, coordinate movement processing is simulated using structured telemetry data (mock data) to validate the system's business logic and data flow. Functional testing results using Black Box Testing indicate that all features executed successfully without system failures. Furthermore, user acceptance evaluation through Usability Testing utilizing the System Usability Scale (SUS) method yielded a final score of 80.00, placing the prototype system within the "Grade B" range with a "Good" Adjective Rating. This study contributes to providing a conceptual model of personal fitness that integrates physical activity data with reflective analytical evaluation. Meskipun penggunaan aplikasi kebugaran seluler berkembang pesat, sebagian besar platform eksisting hanya berfokus pada pencatatan statistik performa mentah tanpa memperhatikan aspek reflektif dan personalisasi pengalaman berlari. Penelitian ini merupakan bagian dari penelitian payung (joint research) yang bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan high-fidelity prototype aplikasi Diary Runners sebagai digital companion untuk memonitor performa sekaligus menjaga motivasi pelari. Ruang lingkup penelitian ini difokuskan pada modul utama sistem meliputi: autentikasi, dashboard utama, pencatatan aktivitas lari, penyusunan rencana latihan (training plan), grafik statistik mingguan, serta fitur smart insight menggunakan pendekatan Business Intelligence (BI) terbatas pada tingkat analisis deskriptif dan diagnostik. Metode pengembangan sistem menggunakan Rapid Application Development (RAD) melalui empat tahapan, yaitu requirements planning, user design, construction, dan cutover. Pada modul rekam aktivitas, pengolahan pergerakan koordinat disimulasikan menggunakan data telemetri terstruktur (mock data) guna memvalidasi logika bisnis dan aliran data sistem. Hasil pengujian fungsional dengan Black Box Testing menunjukkan seluruh fitur berjalan sukses tanpa kegagalan sistem. Pengujian aspek penerimaan pengguna melalui Usability Testing menggunakan metode System Usability Scale (SUS) menghasilkan skor akhir sebesar 80,00, sehingga prototipe sistem dikategorikan dalam rentang peringkat "Grade B" dengan Adjective Rating "Good". Penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam menyediakan model konseptual kebugaran personal yang mengintegrasikan data aktivitas fisik dengan evaluasi analitik yang reflektif.
