Abstract
The patrol scheduling process at PT Wira Sandi is currently still conducted manually, which has the potential to cause uneven schedule distribution, require a longer preparation time, and complicate schedule adjustments when officers request leave. In addition, patrol execution and reporting are not yet integrated into a single system, making patrol data management less effective. This study aims to implement the Round Robin Scheduling Algorithm in a mobile-based patrol scheduling system to produce a rotating, even, and structured patrol schedule distribution. The approach used is Design Science Research (DSR) with the Waterfall model of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) development method, covering the stages of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Data were collected through observation and interviews to obtain the company's operational requirements. The Round Robin Scheduling Algorithm is applied with a shift rotation pattern of two morning days, two night days, and two days off using a modulo operation-based rotation mechanism, allowing the system to automatically generate patrol schedules in accordance with the company's work pattern.The results show that the Round Robin Scheduling Algorithm was successfully implemented in the patrol scheduling system and is capable of generating a rotating, structured, and even schedule distribution according to PT Wira Sandi's operational needs. The developed system also supports patrol execution through features such as scheduling, report filling, photo documentation, and schedule adjustments due to leave requests. Based on testing using the Black Box Testing method, all main system functions operate in accordance with the established functional requirements. The implementation of the Round Robin Scheduling Algorithm in the mobile-based patrol scheduling system supports the scheduling and execution of patrols more effectively, systematically, and digitally documented, thereby increasing the efficiency of patrol management at PT Wira Sandi. Proses penjadwalan patroli di PT Wira Sandi saat ini masih dilakukan secara manual, yang berpotensi menyebabkan pembagian jadwal yang tidak merata, memerlukan waktu penyusunan lebih lama, serta menyulitkan penyesuaian jadwal ketika terdapat petugas yang mengajukan cuti. Selain itu, pelaksanaan dan pelaporan patroli belum terintegrasi dalam satu sistem, sehingga pengelolaan data patroli menjadi kurang efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengimplementasikan Algoritma Round Robin Scheduling pada sistem penjadwalan patroli berbasis mobile untuk menghasilkan pembagian jadwal patroli yang bergilir, merata, dan terstruktur. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah Design Science Research (DSR) dengan metode pengembangan System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model Waterfall, meliputi tahapan analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, implementasi, pengujian, dan pemeliharaan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan wawancara guna memperoleh kebutuhan operasional perusahaan. Algoritma Round Robin Scheduling diterapkan dengan pola rotasi shift dua hari pagi, dua hari malam, dan dua hari off menggunakan mekanisme rotasi berbasis operasi modulo, sehingga sistem dapat menghasilkan jadwal patroli secara otomatis sesuai pola kerja perusahaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Algoritma Round Robin Scheduling berhasil diimplementasikan pada sistem penjadwalan patroli dan mampu menghasilkan pembagian jadwal yang bergilir, terstruktur, dan merata sesuai kebutuhan operasional PT Wira Sandi. Sistem yang dikembangkan juga mendukung pelaksanaan patroli melalui fitur penjadwalan, pengisian laporan, dokumentasi foto, serta penyesuaian jadwal akibat pengajuan cuti. Berdasarkan pengujian dengan metode Black Box Testing, seluruh fungsi utama sistem berjalan sesuai kebutuhan fungsional yang telah ditetapkan. Implementasi Algoritma Round Robin Scheduling pada sistem penjadwalan patroli berbasis mobile mendukung proses penjadwalan dan pelaksanaan patroli secara lebih efektif, terstruktur, dan terdokumentasi secara digital, sehingga meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan patroli di PT Wira Sandi.
