Abstract
This Capstone Project discusses strategies to strengthen the Realability and Sustainability of power plant operations through the implementation of optimizing the allocation of maintenance budgets and investment in LED lighting technology at PT PLN Indonesia Power, PLTU Suralaya Units 5–7, which will be implemented in the 2023–2027 period. The problem faced is the use of suboptimal maintenance budgets, which leads to an increase in the frequency of interruptions, decreased performance, and high operational costs. The proposed strategy includes evaluation of maintenance financing patterns, priority mapping of technical needs, and the application of critical asset performance-based budget management methods. With this strategy, the use of ineffective costs can be minimized and the available funds can be focused on activities that directly contribute to improving the reliability of the generating unit. The goal of the budget optimization obtained during the 2023–2027 period is then allocated for investment in energy-efficient LED lighting technology to reduce internal electricity consumption, reduce operational costs, and support the company's energy efficiency targets. The use of LED lights is also in line with sustainability initiatives through reducing emissions, eliminating the risk of environmental pollution (B3 waste) and more efficient use of resources. The implementation of this strategy can result in increased reliability, long-term cost savings, and strengthen PT PLN Indonesia Power's commitment to sustainable operations. Capstone Project ini membahas terkait strategi penguatan Realibility dan Sustainability operasional pembangkit listrik melalui implementasi optimalisasi alokasi anggaran pemeliharaan serta investasi teknologi lampu LED di PT PLN Indonesia Power, PLTU Suralaya Unit 5–7, yang pelaksanaannya pada periode tahun 2023–2027. Permasalahan yang dihadapi adalah penggunaan anggaran pemeliharaan yang kurang optimal, yang menyebabkan peningkatan frekuensi gangguan, penurunan performa, dan berimplikasi pada biaya operasional yang tinggi. Strategi yang diusulkan meliputi evaluasi terhadap pola pembiyaan pemeliharaan, pemetaan prioritas kebutuhan teknis, dan penerapan metode pengelolaan anggaran berbasis kinerja critical asset. Dengan strategi ini, penggunaan biaya yang tidak efektif dapat diminimalkan dan dana yang tersedia dapat difokuskan pada kegiatan yang memberikan kontribusi langsung terhadap peningkatan reliabilitas unit pembangkit. Tujuan dari optimasi anggaran yang diperoleh selama periode 2023–2027, kemudian dialokasikan untuk investasi teknologi lampu LED hemat energi guna mengurangi konsumsi listrik internal, menekan beban biaya operasional, dan mendukung target efisiensi energi perusahaan. Penggunaan lampu LED juga sejalan dengan inisiatif keberlanjutan melalui pengurangan emisi, menghilangkan risiko pencemaran lingkungan (limbah B3) dan penggunaan sumber daya yang lebih efisien. Dengan implementasi strategi ini dapat menghasilkan peningkatan keandalan, penghematan biaya jangka panjang, serta memperkuat komitmen PT PLN Indonesia Power terhadap operasional yang berkelanjutan.
