Abstract
The development of Internet of Things (IoT) technology has provided convenience in the efficient and integrated management and monitoring of household electrical energy. This study focuses on the design and development of an IoT-based monitoring and control system for household electronic appliances that is capable of displaying electrical current, voltage, and power values in real time and can be accessed and controlled via a smartphone. The main variables observed in this study include electrical current (A), voltage (V), and power (W), while the supporting variable isthe appliance control status, namely the on and off condition of the devices. The research objects consist of several household electrical appliances used as test loads, which were selected using a purposive sampling technique based on the characteristics of load types and different power capacities. Data processing and analysis were carried out using descriptive quantitative analysis by comparing the measurement results of the PZEM-004T sensor with those obtained from a standard measuring instrument as a reference. Test results show that the average daily electricity usage is 235.67 V, 0.047 A, and 54.5 Watts, with a 1-second web display delay. Therefore, this system is considered effective in helping users monitor electricity consumption, increasing power efficiency, and supporting the safety of household electrical installations.. Keywords: Internet of Things (IoT), NodeMCU ESP32, PZEM-004T, Monitoring, Control, Perkembangan teknologi Internet of Things (IoT) memberikan kemudahan dalam pengelolaan dan pengawasan energi listrik rumah tangga secara efisien dan terintegrasi. Penelitian ini berfokus pada perancangan dan pembangunan sistem monitoring dan pengendalian peralatan elektronika rumah tangga berbasis IoT yang mampu menampilkan nilai arus, tegangan, dan daya listrik secara realtime serta dapat diakses dan dikendalikan melalui smartphone. Variabel utama yang diamati dalam penelitian ini meliputi arus listrik (A), tegangan listrik (V), dan daya listrik (W), sedangkan variabel pendukung berupa status pengendalian peralatan listrik, yaitu kondisi hidup dan mati perangkat. Objek penelitian berupa beberapa peralatan listrik rumah tangga yang digunakan sebagai beban uji, yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling berdasarkan karakteristik jenis beban dan kapasitas daya yang berbeda. Pengolahan dan analisis data dilakukan menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dengan cara membandingkan hasil pengukuran sensor PZEM-004T terhadap hasil pengukuran alat ukur standar sebagai acuan. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan data rata-rata pemakaian listrik dalam satu hari adalah tengangan sebesar 235,67 V, arus 0,047 A dan daya 54,5 Watt dengan delay tampilan web selama 1 detik. Dengan demikian, sistem ini dinilai efektif dalam membantu pengguna memantau konsumsi energi listrik, meningkatkan efisiensi penggunaan daya, serta mendukung keamanan instalasi listrik rumah tangga.
