Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh debit banjir periode ulang terhadap potensi gerusan pada lereng di tikungan kritis Sungai Sengayam, Kalimantan Selatan, guna merumuskan strategi penanganan infrastruktur yang optimal. Variabel penelitian mencakup karakteristik hidrologi berupa debit banjir rencana periode ulang (2, 5, 10, 20, 50, dan 100 tahun) serta parameter hidraulika yang meliputi kecepatan aliran, tegangan geser, dan kedalaman gerusan. Data yang digunakan merupakan data sekunder curah hujan harian maksimum periode 2010–2024 dari tiga stasiun pengamatan: Geofisika Gusti Syamsir Alam, Sultan Aji Muhammad Sepinggan, dan Sanggu Barito Selatan. Penentuan curah hujan wilayah pada Daerah Aliran Sungai (DAS) seluas 107,640 km² dilakukan menggunakan teknik poligon Thiessen. Analisis data diintegrasikan melalui pendekatan hidrologi dengan metode Hidrograf Satuan Sintetik (HSS) Nakayasu dan pemodelan hidraulika numerik menggunakan perangkat lunak HEC-RAS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan debit banjir secara signifikan menaikkan kecepatan aliran hingga 2,0 m/s pada profil kritis, yang memicu gerusan lateral dan vertikal pada tebing sungai. Sebagai langkah mitigasi, ditentukan bahwa penggunaan kombinasi bangunan krib impermeable dari bronjong batu kali sepanjang 4,5 meter dan perlindungan riprap dengan diameter batu (D50) 0,086 m merupakan metode penanganan paling efektif. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa implementasi penanganan struktural berbasis analisis debit banjir rencana mampu memulihkan stabilitas lereng serta melindungi infrastruktur di sekitar tikungan sungai dari risiko keruntuhan. This research analyzes the influence of return period flood discharge on the potential for slope scouring at critical bends of the Sengayam River, South Kalimantan, to formulate optimal infrastructure management strategies. The research variables include hydrological characteristics in the form of planned flood discharge for specific return periods (2, 5, 10, 20, 50, and 100 years) and hydraulic parameters encompassing flow velocity, shear stress, and scour depth. The data utilized are secondary maximum daily rainfall records for the 2010–2024 period from three observation stations: Geofisika Gusti Syamsir Alam, Sultan Aji Muhammad Sepinggan, and Sanggu Barito Selatan. Regional rainfall for the 107.640 km² Watershed (DAS) was determined using the Thiessen Polygon technique. Data analysis was integrated through a hydrological approach using the Nakayasu Synthetic Unit Hydrograph (HSS) method and numerical hydraulic modeling via HEC-RAS 6.3.1 software. The results indicate that increased flood discharge significantly raises flow velocity up to 2.0 m/s at critical profiles, triggering both lateral and vertical scouring on the riverbanks. As a mitigation measure, it was determined that a combination of impermeable groyne structures made of stone gabions with a length of 4.5 meters and riprap protection with a median stone diameter (D50) of 0.086 m is the most effective handling method. This study concludes that the implementation of structural interventions based on planned flood discharge analysis is capable of restoring slope stability and protecting infrastructure around river bends from the risk of collapse.
