Abstract
The rapid development of information technology has encouraged companies to adopt web-based systems to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes, particularly in the logistics and expedition sector. PT Amora Ginka Kindo, as an expedition management service provider, faces challenges in managing customer, expedition, and financial data that are still handled manually, leading to potential recording errors, information delays, and data security risks. Furthermore, the involvement of multiple users with different roles requires a structured access control mechanism at the user interface level. This study aims to implement a user interface for a web-based expedition management application by applying Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) to enhance operational efficiency, data security, and system usability. This research is categorized as applied research using a qualitative approach, focusing on user requirement analysis and user interface development. The user interface is developed using the Laravel framework with the Blade Template Engine, supported by Tailwind CSS and Chart.js to produce a responsive and informative interface. The Agile Software Development method is applied to support an iterative and adaptive development process. The results indicate that the implementation of a role-based user interface simplifies system navigation, restricts feature access according to user responsibilities, and improves the effectiveness of expedition and financial data management. The developed interface supports multiple user roles, including Owner, Team Leader, IT, Admin, and User, each with appropriate access rights. Therefore, the proposed web-based expedition management application is able to support integrated, secure, and more efficient operational processes within the company. Perkembangan teknologi informasi mendorong perusahaan untuk mulai menggunakan sistem berbasis web untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas proses bisnis, termasuk pada sektor logistik dan ekspedisi. PT Amora Ginka Kindo sebagai perusahaan penyedia jasa manajemen ekspedisi menghadapi permasalahan dalam pengelolaan data pelanggan, ekspedisi, dan keuangan yang masih dilakukan secara manual sehingga berpotensi menimbulkan kesalahan pencatatan dan keterlambatan informasi serta risiko keamanan data. Selain itu, penggunaan sistem oleh banyak pengguna dengan peran yang berbeda menuntut adanya pengaturan hak akses yang jelas dan terstruktur pada tingkat antarmuka pengguna. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan antarmuka pengguna aplikasi web manajemen ekspedisi dengan menerapkan Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) guna meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, keamanan data, dan kemudahan penggunaan sistem. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian terapan dengan pendekatan kualitatif fokus nya kepada analisis kebutuhan pengguna dan pengembangan antarmuka pengguna. Pengembangan antarmuka dilakukan menggunakan framework Laravel dengan Blade Template Engine, serta didukung oleh Tailwind CSS dan Chart.js untuk menghasilkan tampilan yang responsif dan informatif. Metode Agile Software Development diterapkan untuk mendukung proses pengembangan yang iteratif dan adaptif terhadap kebutuhan pengguna. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi antarmuka pengguna berbasis peran mampu menyederhanakan navigasi sistem, membatasi akses fitur sesuai tanggung jawab pengguna, serta meningkatkan efektivitas pengelolaan data ekspedisi dan keuangan. Antarmuka yang dihasilkan dapat digunakan oleh berbagai peran pengguna, yaitu Owner, Team Leader, IT, Admin, dan User, sesuai dengan hak akses masing-masing. Dengan demikian, aplikasi web manajemen ekspedisi yang dikembangkan mampu mendukung proses operasional perusahaan secara terintegrasi, aman, dan lebih efisien Kata kunci: Antarmuka pengguna, Manajemen ekspedisi, Role-Based Access Control, Laravel, Agile Software Development.
