Abstract

PT. X has a problem about the supply of raw materials to be processed into ceramics. Inventory control at PT X at this time for the standard is only in the form of the number of requests per 6 (six) months without delivery schedule. So that the cost of ordering raw materials made has increased quite large so that it can harm the company. Forecasting is a method used to handle the production process so as not to get out of the actual data. The lotting method used in the raw material inventory control process is the method, Lot For Lot (LFL) and Economic Order Quantity (EOQ). Planning and inventory control systems for raw materials at PT. X uses the Lot For Lot (LFL) method because the total cost obtained has the smallest number at a cost of Rp. 369,612,000. While for raw material E uses Lot For Lot (LFL) method because the total cost obtained has the smallest number at a cost of Rp.133,068,000 in the period of October 2016 - September 2017. Conclusions can be drawn that the forecasting patterns used are linear patterns. While the lotting technique used for raw material A is to use the Lot For Lot method because the total cost obtained has the smallest number. While the raw material E also uses the Lot For Lot method because the total cost obtained has the smallest number. So that the MRP applied is MRP with a safety lead time that is by ordering a period of 1 period before it is needed. X mempunyai masalah tentang persediaan bahan baku yang akan diolah menjadi keramik Pengendalian persediaan pada PT X pada saat ini untuk baku hanya berupa jumlah permintaan per 6 (enam) bulan tanpa jadwal pengiriman. Sehingga biaya pemesanan bahan baku yang dilakukan mengalami peningkatan yang cukup besar sehingga dapat merugikan perusahaan. Peramalan adalah metode yang digunakan untuk menangani proses produksi agar tidak terlalu keluar dari data sebenarnya. Metode lotting yang digunakan dalam proses pengendalian persediaan bahan baku yaitu metode, Lot For Lot (LFL) dan Economic Order Quantity (EOQ).Sistem perencanaan dan pengendalian persediaan untuk bahan baku di PT. X menggunakan metode Lot For Lot (LFL) dikarenakan total cost yang didapat memiliki angka terkecil dengan biaya Rp. 369,612,000. Sementara untuk bahan baku E menggunakan metode Lot For Lot (LFL) dikarenakan total cost yang didapat memiliki angka terkecil dengan biaya Rp.133,068,000 pada periode oktober 2016 – September 2017. maka dapat diambil kesimpulan yaitu Pola peramalan yang digunakan yaitu pola linier. Sedangkan Teknik lotting yang digunakan untuk bahan baku A yaitu menggunakan metode Lot For Lot dikarenakan total biaya yang didapat memiliki angka terkecil. Sedangkan bahan baku E juga menggunakan metode Lot For Lot dikarenakan total cost yang didapat memiliki angka terkecil. Sehingga MRP yang diterapkan adalah MRP dengan safety lead time yaitu dengan jadwal pemesanan 1 periode sebelum dibutuhkan.
