Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara empiris pengaruh pertumbuhan perusahaan dan struktur modal terhadap nilai perusahaan. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode analisis kausalitas yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis tentang pengaruh variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen. Populasi penelitian ini adalah perusahaan manufaktur yang tercatat di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada tahun penelitian 2011 sampai dengan 2015. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah sampling jenuh, yaitu teknik penentuan sampel bila semua anggota populasi digunakan sebagai sampel. Data populasi sebanyak 32 perusahaan manufaktur. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik dalam bentuk uji hipotesis dengan regresi linear berganda dan uji koefisien korelasi menggunakan bantuan program SPSS Versi 20. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pertumbuhan perusahaan mempunyai hubungan yang sangat lemah dan berpengaruh negatif tidak signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan. Pengaruh negatif ini artinya pertumbuhan perusahaan berbanding terbalik dengan nilai perusahaan. Struktur modal mempunyai hubungan sangat lemah namun berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan. Pengaruh positif ini artinya struktur modal dan nilai perusahaan mengindikasikan hubungan searah.This research aims to examine empirically the effect of the company’s growth and the capital structure towards the firm value. Research method using the method of analysis of causality that is used to test hypotheses about the influence the dependent variable against the independent variable. The population of this research is the manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia stock exchange in the years 2011 to 2015 study. Sampling technique used is saturated, that the sampling techniques the sample determination when all members of a population is used as a sample. Data population 32 manufacturing company. Methods of analysis used is statistical analysis in the form of a hypothesis test with multiple linear regression and correlation coefficient test using SPSS program version 20. The results of this research show that the company’s growth has a relationship that is very weak and insignificant negative effect against the firm value. This means that negative influence company’s growth is inversely proportional to the firm value. Capital structure has a relationship very weak but positive and significant effect against the firm value. This means that the positive influence of capital structure and firm value indicating a direct relationship.
